I got a war in my mind

Whenever I listen to “Ride” by Lana Del Rey I see in front of me the situations we all face everyday working in big cities. We are tempted into unhealthy life and food choices because a huge industry knows our weaknesses, exploits them and promises to fulfil our desires. Tender on the lips, crunchy for the teeth and melting on the tongue. Releasing stress, aggression, loneliness - but keeping the promise for seconds only. You wake up from this moment and realise the future burden you will carry around on your body and mind. You might see running away as your only choice, as in the song.

Personal Training picks you up right there. You don’t have to run and you don’t have to feel like a victim anymore. You make steps for yourself and grow stronger. You give in temptations with your own control, enjoy them and push guilt aside. Guilt is no partner to live with. While training you learn to understand your own body and your own desires. You learn to listen and to accept. Because you train with yourself and me only, there is no comparison. The labels and categories are gone for a while and in the end you love yourself for the way you are.

While training you learn to understand your own body and your own desires.
